Soā€¦this boiling thing means::tongue3:
bringing water to 212 degrees Fahrenheit for cooking. But you donā€™t need a thermometer to boil water. The process to boil water (or any other kind of liquid, this is for the more advanced) is simple.

Please follow these few steps:
Step 1
Put some water in a pan or pot.

Note: DO NOT fill it to the top, or the water will splash out of the pan when it boils!
Step 2
Place the pot on your stove top and turn the burner under the pot to the highest setting.
Note: The stove knobs probably has a ā€œHiā€ or ā€œMaxā€ setting. Use this!
Step 3
Let the water come to a full rolling boil.
Note: this is when the bubbles are rapidly breaking the surface. DO NOT use finger to ā€˜seeā€™ or ā€˜testā€™ if the boiling liquid is ā€˜hot enough!

Also note: Covering the pot helps speed up process by trapping surface heat.:laughing7:

I like my method better and its a bit more sciencie / freaky....

1) fill paper cup half way to 3/4 full of water...
2) place directly into the campfire ( flames be dammed )
3) wait for water to boil in the midst of a huge fire in a paper cup

This works because the water will keep the temperature of the paper below the burning point.. Water boils at 212f while paper need like 451f So the higher temperature will never be reached as long as there is still water in the cup :)
