Artichoke & Spinach Dip Restaurant Style

Prep Time: 15 Minutes Cook Time: 1 ½ hours
Servings: 12 :headbang:


Ingredients

2 tablespoons garlic powder
1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
1 (14 ounce) can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
1 (10 ounce) container Alfredo-style pasta sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions
Defrost the spinach in the microwave (about 5 minutes)
Mix all of the other ingredients in the crock pot
Add hot spinach to crock pot
Stir well
Cook on high for 1½-2 hours, or until it warm throughout

That sounds good, too, Froggy.
I usually use the marinated artichokes in the jar. The chopped spinach, then a package or two of mixed chedders and/or Colby moneteray jack, or whatever cheese I may have. I only cook mine about: get it hot all the way through, and serve.
I'll hafta try you're recipe next time I do those. Thanks.

eta: I'd nix that powder for some fresh garlic. :laughing7:
