Instant (overnight) Bread and Butter Pickles

Ingredients

couple a 3 or 4 pickling cukes thinly sliced
1 medium onion thinly sliced
1 Tbs. salt
2 tsp. celery seed
1/2 cup white vinegar
3/4 cup sugar

Dir.

Combine cukes, onion, salt, and celery seed. toss and mix, then let stand for 1 hour.
Mix sugar into vinegar and pour over cukes.
Cover and refridgerate overnight.
Try not to eat them all at midnight!
Serve in a glass dish with a perforated or slotted serving spoon.
