Charles Garrett is one of my all-time favorite treasure hunting authors. His enthusiasm always came out so well in his books it was/is infectious. I could (and still can) come in from an 8-hour hunt, read some in any of his books (I have pretty much everything he wrote, including a hardcover first edition of Successful Coin Hunting), and then after reading for a bit, I want to get up and head back out and start searching again.
Charles Garrett, KVM, and H. Glenn Carson can't be replaced, but their legacies and wisdom all live on through their words.
