Welcome to the forum.
There is a little bit of overlap between the 2 books, but you'll want both. KVM used different examples to illustrate techniques. The different stories he tells about people's experiences finding treasure are used to teach us HOW a lead should be worked and used. I have #6 and #7 plus several other books written as KVM and Deek Gladson.
Go through out this forum and you'll find a lot of threads about KVM and his writings.

The reason that some people think 6 is the same as 7 is that there were treasure leads given in six and their recovery staus was reported in seven. Otherwise they are entirely different. siegfried schlagrule
