14K wedding band, no inscription & a silver Rosey dime. Beaches are hit hard down here. Where I go during the summer, every day someone is out swinging.
There's more & better stuff out on the Outer Banks, but I never go out there. Family has a place down near Wilmington, so why spend the $$.
I have a friend who found grape shot on the beach at a Civil War fort that is owned by the state.
Farm fields are one of my fav spots to hit
depending how old the farm is and what happened around there will determine your finds
most of the ones I hit are 200+ yrs old
you figure even if one person lost one item a year - that would be 200 items at least to be found
I have gotton coins back to the 1600's - along with many buttons, musketballs and other nice relics
digging is easy and with every years turn of the soil - new items get brought up
good luck
