What is the size? Try to put a reference object in the picture, such as a quarter or ruler. It seems like a decrative plate to be put on something, but without knowing the size it is hard to tell.

I think its an elk or something, the face and rack are different than a deer. I tried getting my phone closer but it gets fuzzy.

I know its not metal but I think this little bottle deserves a post. After all it did escape damage from my Lesche while i was after a target. I'll take a BIMAL medicine any day. I think it makes up for the absence of coins i got that day

Hey Ian,

They did have single inkstands. I don't know about them being built in, but the threaded post may have supported a figure or some sort of enclosure or pen stand for the ink well.
