I bought the silver dollars out at the flea market in Raleigh for half of the silver value :). but all the other silver was found at old home sites, woods, and fields. What have you guys found? And what's my most valuable one?

Thats awesome the at pro never fails to amaze me I have to say I did get a v3i but ill never get rid of my pro

Cant see dates to help you with which is the most valuable, in case you have a key or semi key date. From the pics of course the Morgan silver dollars typically have the most value, but again it all depends on dates and condition of the coins. If you don't have a price guide, the Red Book for United States Coins 2014 is one place to start to give you retail value. You can purchase them at most bookstores or online for around $14-$17.

Sure thing, didn't mean that to sound know it all, I just saw no one had answered your most valuable question, and some folks have no idea on value. I should have had a clue when you mentioned buying the lot of dollars for half silver value....good buy! Peace dollars are my favorite. I think they are one of the most beautiful coins ever. Your 1922 peace dollar is VERY nice...I can still see mint luster on that one. Good finds!!

Nice post.
I found my first silver with my AT the very first day I used it.
This was just a few days ago.

This will help you in ascertaining silver melt value. By the way, I have a crap-ton of silver halves and dollars that I can sell you at your quoted prices.

I think.u r correct by the melt value on the coins and thats to an average person to WHO doesnt collect coins either there are certain coins that are very rare being made only a certain # of years, makin there value alot higher then ur average spot value. So pending on where the coin was made (mint Mark) date condition will play a great deal in factoring its value. Just like alot of other items in the World ones that were only made few of tend to b more then the average
