Need help with display

I am looking for ideas of how to display my civil war relics. Want something nice but within my budget. Any ideas would be great

You can go to some of the flea markets and 2nd had stores and look for a nice coffee table with a big drawer, cut a nice square hole in the top above the drawer, use a router and make a lip and mount a piece of class in it, put a lock on the drawer.

I have found a couple nice shadow box coffee tables at the 2nd hand stores for next to nothing....... Bad thing is every time I do my wife wants it to display her stuff....LOL

I just buy them off ebay, but there's probably many places if you search on google. If you do buy some, it's probably best to ask if the seller guarantees they arrive safe because I once had a case show up with half broken. They were packed well too, so not sure what the heck happened along the way, but the seller made good and sent replacements.

Try Craigs list. There's a lot of businesses going under these days. You'd be amazed how many glass display cases are offered free.

Be prepared to hear the wife say "Where the heck you gonna put that?" "Not in my house! That's what the workshop is for!!!"
