Great assortment , I agree they are getting harder to find everyday.
Were the Gardner's all from the same area?
& are Enfield,s hard to find in your area?
& do you come across many conical 69 cal around the Dalton area.
Just wondering.....fellow N.Georgian.

I found the Gardners about a foot deep, all 10 were in the same hole. The gun powder residue was still in the clay. Enfields, I dont find as many of those as I do everything else. I have a spot in Resaca were I found all the 3 ringers. The property is on some of the battle field. I find round balls mixed in every now and then. I've dug a few Williams cleaners bullets. But those Yankee's must have had the lead to spare.
