Ah man that's a beauty.. I love old locks I still have one I need to clean the rest of the way it reminds me of yours a little.
I would take a guess and say yours should be late 1800's to early 19 hundreds maybe around ww1 era but no more

I went dirt digging to this old spot that I always love to go to, I need help iding the year on this old lock it has some nice detail on it im going to try to clean it just a little bit more thanks8-)

Looks like an old smokehouse lock to me, somewhat similar to these. .

That is a shame. It's an old "story" lock. It's known as one of the scroll locks, due to the scroll work that would have been very obvious on the entire exterior. Dates from 1880's - 1900ish.
