Wasn't sure where to post this to ask, but I recently got permission to look around an old farmstead that was built in 1937. On the pillars in the back, these markings were all over them. I hadn't seen them before anywhere else and a google search didn't return much back to me. Are these common or do they mean anything specific? Located in middle TN near KY. Im planning to metal detect the area soon.
