I see a lot of display cases posted here. Personally I need to think about that myself.

Oh man!!! That roof looks really sketchy!!!!!! It needs a lot more rafters!! Lots more! The walls need some shelves to add structural integrity when the new rafters are added.

Hey! It sounded like a good all around excuse to me......... :laughing7:

I've been setting mine on the edge of the driveway. Hubby tells me tonight that "we" need to find a different spot to pile them up. He's a custom commercial cabinet maker and has built many displays. One would think he could make something to hold all these artifacts, bottles and relics! Lol! I'm looking at Craig's list and antique stores.

I display some of my favorite relics, but there are others I donate to the local museum. As much as I want to keep it all, It's nice knowing the local museum will preserve it. Plus it will be shared with many of their visitors, and they're always happy to get a new piece of history to display.

So, hubby and I go to a historical museum today. One of the displays is built so that you get a feel of what it was like to be in the trenches during WWI. My husband says, " Man, I would love to build a display like this and show case historical items."
I said, "So, build me one!" :hello2:

Maybe I'll get lucky and get to post it in the future! Lol!

I love how you're displaying your relics, jss1216. Keep on hanging!
