Welcome to TNet digger!

Terry is probably right!

Also there used to be, in the 50s up through the 70s, a national chain called The A & N stores. They carried Army and Navy surplus stuff and hunting clothes etc. They had bayonets and some pocket knives that were genuine and you could buy a bayonet for about three buck, mostly foreign stuff. I went to the grand opening of the store in my town and everyone got a door prize of a brand new Us Army WW1 knapsack. Don't know whatever happened to it.

Nice find! Good luck and best wishes!

Some of the surplus etc. those Army Navy stores sold back in the 70's are worth good money today.

I remember the swiss bayonets made for the Schmidt Rubin. They were about 18" long and had a saw back. Gruesome!
