Looks like the coins probably came out of a pocket, probably somebody buried on the banks up the creek.
Coins don't fall on top of one another. Looks like some very old material came from in between the coins during electrolysis.

Looks legit, well at least the general area, Probably a plant downstream, from the looks of the shoreline on the right it seems somebody was in and out of water along the shore looking for something? :laughing7:
Not saying they were pulled from a pocket but my guess is they didn't come from the middle of that stream.
