I picked up this rounded ball while doing senderism in the city of Tijuana, Mexico, at first I thought it was slag or maybe a part of a car, when I was at the point of throwing it out, I did it the connection with ancient rounded bullets, for that I returned to the same place and I found this piece of iron, it resembles a rifle lock, so I just wanna know if both items are really lead ball and rifle lock or just slag.

Lol, it is a rocker arm. The ball is magnetic, so it is not a lead ball, it is an iron ball.

Hi... I don't know about the larger piece but the iron ball might be a piece of grapeshot, if there was a battle in that area. If not, it might be a ball bearing or something.

I'll go out on a limb here and say it's a ball bearing. ;-) The rest of the car/truck might be down there somewhere.
