Yes it is true.. I called off from work...didn't have that 'I want to work hard today for my employer' feeling.
So, I went to visit the geologist. Actually if I had gone to work I would have never known him to volunteer at our local gem museum. It was just a fluke to meet him. He only volunteers two (2) days a week. Both of which I am slaving for eight hours..anyway...
I showed this new found 'friend' who allowed me to pick his brain for twenty plus minutes...a new RUBY I recently purchased. Oh and I had questions. Well the short of it is my $50. purchase is worth three (3) times that..$150. (yippee)
I have been invited to join the local gem club, lap club, Museum club, of course at a price.(cheap!)
Folks...knowledge is so important when making purchases...and so important to call off from work on the right day..maybe a little lady luck.
