    Need some help about rock tumblers????

    Question...what is the better type, vibrating or tumbling? Question...When tumbling is it better to have a full load or can you tumble just a couple pieces? Question... I want to spend around $125. to $150. on a machine, which machine in your opinion would be best for a newb? Thanks for any help you can give me.... JYD...

    A VERY LOADED QUESTION. Like so many other parts of lapidary work, there are a lot of variables to take into account.
    What is it that you plan on doing the most , and how rough will most your your stones start out? Will you be doing both large stones and small stones? How big will a majority of your stones be? Wow, I could go on and on with this question.
