    Dancer's glitter rock ID needed ? ? ?

I was hopeing for an I D on this rock. It's heavy and crumbles easily with a hammer and turns into powder like. I look like Ive been dusted with some dancers glitter . The rock is very shiny throughout. It came from the southwest USA. Thanks Extractor

If not readily attracted to a magnet, it is probably specular hematite (specularite). C

    Test the streak colour.

It looks like the same rock (mica schist) we picked up in New Mexico several years ago. Very heavy, some pink color. It had fairy crystals (crosses) and garnets in it.
