    Lava Rocks, Iron Slag, Meteorites or something else?

    I started a thread about this on the Meteorite page. I am putting a link here in case anyone might recognize what I have. I found them in a creek and I think there are more of them. A magnet will stick to them in spots but some spots it will not stick. I was thinking it looks closest to Iron slag but I was wondering if a magnet would stick anywhere on an Iron slag or do magnets sometimes not stick to Iron slag?     Sorry, I don't know what they are but from the rough shape I would guess that they didn't travel far in the stream. A search up stream might give you the source and from that the answer you seek.
