    Septarian Nodule

Just completed a Geology mapping course in Southern Utah this summer. Some friends and I went out hunting Septarian Nodules and I was the only lucky one to find one in place. Just polished it up hastily last night, enough to get the calcite to gleam at me a little. I don't have a picture of it polished yet, but I'll post one of it cut, and wet, so you get the idea.
    Enjoy!

That's nice! Your hard work payed off.
God sleeps in the minerals, awakens in the plants, walks in the animals, and thinks in you. ---Ancient Sanskrit saying.
