I don't know, if it flexible/malleable? Has the look of a very corroded piece of copper as a first impression.

Hi Eu, no it is rock. & the circles are smooth definitely in it, not on it. am hoping to find bigger chunk of it, though I don't believe the material came from this area, so I might have been lucky to have found the flake.

İf you can not scratch it with a knife, hardnes is 7 or higer, it is a honeycomb chalcedony.
İf you can scratch, it is red coral.

fossil coral for sure. almost thought orange bloodstone. almost thought orange averturine, but no. Pretty cool find!
