ive got some just like it mine are the same collar of the outside all the way through and has crystals in the middle i have no clue what they are

Welcome! :wave: What county did you find it?
It's a fairly common to find this type of hematite or ironstone here in Mt. That is an interesting piece in that it is infused with a more erodable material.

This one was found just outside of Geraldine in Chouteau County.

This is A
a iron nodule. It could be a hematite or some other iron mineral(s) such as goethite or a iron carbonate nodule also known as ciderite nodule.

I vote the slice and polish. Probably be worth the time due to it being worth allot of money when its done.

Brian nailed it yet again; has a resemblance of the ironstone found in koriot, Australia. Beautiful when cut and polished.
