My first silver find was actualy found about a month ago but just realized it hahaha the pictures are kind of hard to see its in dog tooth calcite pockets in volcanic ash i found it near calico ca in mule canyon i doubt its profitable to extract but it may be fun so i think im going to try it

Do I see wire silver? Hard for me to tell on my smart phone. Looks like it though.
Worth more as a specimen than as silver.
I used to work in a silver mine and it was not unusual to find a rock with amethyst and 2 bucks worth of wire silver stuck to it. Put it in your lunch box and take home. Call rock collector friend and sell for $30.

Its small but yep its wire silver i want to try smelting more for the experiance than anything else i know where to get more lol but it will probably be months before i do either
