I've never heard of any from N.J. Madison blue from Montana, and Holly blue and Ellensburg blue from Oregon, and of course the blue lace stuff from Africa. Go to ebay and look up "rough for cabbing" under gems and minerals, and you'll see examples of blue agates from around the world for sale.

Ellensburg blue from Oregon.....

no, that would be Washington....very expensive too as a gem stone, huge market for it, oddly enough, in London of all places.

.blueish Agate from the world famous quarry in Prospect Park, New Jersey. From the impressive Fred Vlamynck collection. Very nice specimen!. It measures a large 6 x 3 1/2 inches. Overall, the specimen shows great! Much better in person!!! Great color here.....from the Hematite staining......and the Agate is so thick!

True blue agate is hard to find. Most of whats called blue agate tends more to the gray in color than a true blue. Now an Ellensburg blue from washington is a true blue, and the only blue agate with a pinkish cast to it when back-lit by the sun.
