Odd quartz specimen. With some hermitic staining. Cool little find.

Chalcedony, agate? looks like a giant fire agate without the fire.

I would call it a quartz nodule. You have characteristics of agate, but also chalcedony. The way quartz sometimes "grows" is hard to define what specific type. Especially when they are both microcrystalline types of quartz.
