....I had found part of a pretty arrowhead (heartbreaker :() that's a nice lavender color a few months ago, think it's jasper? Well, I just found this rock that's near that color but doesn't have the "speckles" like in the arrowhead, if you zoom it in & look close (first picture) it has layers almost like agate....what does anyone think it is? Thanks!

That is a heartbreaker Kat, but still akeeper. I don't think I've ever seen a lavender rock before. Am interested to see what the "in the know" guys say.

Could be jasper indeed. But the white specs have me a bit cautious.

I think they are two different rocks but same color family. Yes Eu, the arrowhead piece with the "specks" is odd. The other has "layers" or swirls in it so?

I'll be sure & look that up Bajahunter, thanks!

*I went & did some looking and found that there is a lot of different kinds of "spotted" jasper...so guess it is one of those and the other one with the layers probably another kind of jasper.....so guess they are Jasper....lavender Jasper.

Thanks guys for the help! :)
