Found some pointers multicolors

The big one doesn't scratch with other quartz and is really heavy for it's size

Hehh, have to ask you the same question I did in another thread~ did you try to scratch quartz with quartz? if so the wont scratch each other. Have to see some better views on the crystals and the big piece. Nice collection though ;)

Two threads and two possible bits of topaz~ seems to be jumping outta the ground in Virginia.

Thanks for the reply love rocks especially the pointers I've always been told that theres only quartz though this area but than again nobody really ask any questions or really looks , I've heard that a gold mine was recently started or found next county over does gold run with clear quartz most all shinny stuff around hear is called mica ,muscovite, or pyrite we have trucks of all that Thanks again still learning and looking DDancer you are apreciated
