BB, Albite clear enough for faceting is rare. Very rare.

I have some weird white/colorless Feldspar specimens with an Opalized sheen on them. Some are very translucent with transparent sections. Would they be considered Albite?

I snapped a few shots of one.

Impossible to say, the feldspar group of mineral often mixes up with each other.
The source of my rough tested with a tad more advanced methods to find out it was albite..

Gotcha. I was reading about the different Feldspar varieties and Albite and it is very complex.
