Sure looks like it, got it all over here. SW Virginia. Ground looks like someone dumped glitter on it.

And here is some without the quarts rock attached. I was told this was muscovite mica because it has very thin almost clear layers all jammed together. It has a little weight to it too.

I believe you're right. It appears to be Muscovite.
