Simple river rock id

Hello. Might someone be able to tell me what type of rock this is. Found it on a recent hunt in a river/creek bed. The way it is cut is interesting.

Looks like either a bit of flint or quartzite by the fractures. It does not appear to be tooled however it does look like it can be knapped. Ask around in the indian relics forum they might have some ideas too.
