mystery stone?

I don't know much about stones but was just curious if any experts out there know what these are. They were found in association with granite.

I agree, amethyst chip and a bit of agate that grew out into amethyst. Lots of varieties of quartz can be found in association with granites as well as feldspars and, well a whole grab bag of stuff :) Keep looking you'll likely find a lot of other goodies there.
