detecting find on Vancouver beach... magnetic with golden crystals... pyrite?

Dug up this odd clump of amalgamate with what looks like pyrite on several sides. I didn't see the crystals until after i put it through the rock tumbler with vinegar/dish soap

Looks like your correct the reds are mostly decomposed pyrites and it looks to have some hematite or magnetite mixed in. Pretty mineralized piece.
