Hello again, I was going through my collection and i came across this. I'm not sure what to make of it. There are small pockets in the rock around the gem with some crystal structures and small amounts of a yellow sponge looking material. I hope these pictures are high enough quality for identification, as of now i can only use my phone camera. This would've most likely been found in Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, Possibly even Colorado and Mexico. As always, any information would be much appreciated!

Looks like garnet to me also. I've got one around here somewhere. I sometimes hide things from myself.
