Today's agate hunt

Had a nice and relaxing agate hunt this morning. We had a really hard rain earlier this week. It was sunny, and cool with no mosquitoes and there was a beautiful thick fog in the low areas during the drive in.

Here are some pics of my finds. You can't always find the big one, but not bad for a 2.5 hr hunt. :)

Cool! I lived in Ferryville Wisconsin for awhile and finding those in the gravel pits or along the Mississippi river was the ONLY thing I miss about living there....lol!

Haha, I know what you mean. Any time I consider another area that might be fun to live at I always come back to "well... you can't find lake superior agates there"

They are all nice, but that last one would make a fantastic cab.
