1st - I noticed this was your very first post Minero - so, Welcome Aboard! You didn't list your state (or country) in your profile. So, you might consider jumping over to Sub-Forums: Select Your Area.... and selecting location information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state (or country).

Gee123, You aren't far from Jade Cove. You might try hunting there for some honest to goodness jade. Good luck

Could be a granite indeed. Would need to see a freshly exposed surface to tell with a higher level of certainty.
