Good day! It's hard for me to tell with the pics on my device, but it appears to be what is commonly referred to as Tigers Eye. It is a member of the Quartz family and they look beautiful polished! Search for that on the net and see how it compares to what you have in front of you! Nice rock and good luck!:icon_thumleft:

Bernitup is correct. You have a chunk of Tigers Eye, a quartz material that has asbestos crystals inside it. No its not dangerous but it does make a nice semi precious gem. The crystals of asbestos are what create the gold coloration you are seeing.
