For me anyway.
When I would point to a picture and click to enlarge, it took a very long time and I have a very fast computer. The other day I right clicked Mr. Mouse and clicked "Open in new window" Pow it poped up right away.
Some were scrolling and took a bit longer but still fast.
If this is common knowledge, sorry bout that but it's new to me.

I'm not real savy in the tech on that but I use the same function to peruse sites. I feel it has something to do with how the browser uses resources but its usually much faster to open in a new tab and just flip between pages while I'm reading or researching something. I'll give the picture thing a try though as I get the same lag as well.

I like your approach. I does seem faster. Thanks for sharing.

The trick works pretty well. I thank you too.
