Quartz geode? Help me id

Welcome to the forum subha. What your showing is what one would call a plate. Geodes are typically round hollow bodies with an unified exterior typically of chalcedony or agate. That being said you specimen looks to be a cluster of quartz crystals on a plate of host rock and most likely grew in a vug of said host rock. Handsome.

Thanks for the replies people. I thought it was part of a geode by looking at the curvature of the white part (quartz). It seems the a broken part of a somewhat round shape, but I agree the black part has flat side
