What kind of mineral is this ?

Having problem identifying this mineral, Thinking its jasper but can't be positive.Has needle like crystals that have a cubic shape and highly reflective and clear in color like glass. The needle crystals are four sided in shape through it the bottom of piece. On other sides it has several area that silver in color.

Cant really see the crystals in question. Jasper can sometimes associate with quartz crystals, indeed they are in the same family, and its possible you could have triclinic quartz crystal formation.

The lighting makes it hard to make out try taking the pics in natural sun light against a white or black background

Lot's of blurry pics, still my best guess is quartz. You need to master the secrets of photography.

I have to agree with EU, quartz. Pictures are better. I would not classify the stone as a jasper however more of a massive quartz due to the grainy luster on the back and sides of the stone. Jaspers tend to be homogeneous and smooth in color and luster. The crystals on the front still make me of a mind of monoclinic quartz crystals or just poorly developed ones. Maybe something will pop up on a polish of one of the sides.
