Rock, fossil or artifact?

Can anyone tell me if this is a rock or fossil? Can't found anything anywhere similar. 3 holes, 1 at each corner all connect in center. Think it's stone unless bone can hardened into stone like consistency.

Could be a cast of some kind of burrowing sea worm possibly? I am not an expert on fossils. It definitely looks sedimentary to me. The holes don't look man made to me though, I don't see any drill marks. Could also be a limb cast from where a tree or some roots were covered by mud. Hopefully someone with better knowledge on that will help you out.
