And that was just the first question. Many rocks and minerals can be visually similar to others. A general location is helpful in pinning down what it may be, but not always.

Based on the provided images, and no other information, I can only put out a few guesses. I have seen similar greenish clear seam agate. I have also seen glass slag similar in color and appearance. Another that comes to mind is any of several geode beds that have predominantly greenish hues. I can count a few I have been to in Oregon, Idaho, and Nevada that could have something similar. There are other possibilities, based on the images, that I am sure others will post.

This is why questions concerning location and circumstances are asked. Far too many samples look similar.

Time for more coffee.

In Texas about 3.5 hrs from the coast. I found it on our property.
