Lake Superior Agate

Up here in Minnesota waiting for RV to get repaired and decided I do some research on the internet on collecting some Lake Superior agate for this winters rock polishing in Arizona. One particular web site mentioned looking in landscaping areas, well low and behold while checking out the hotels landscaping I found several nice specimens. So it pays to look at rocks used for landscaping you never know what you might find.

Rock Hounds are always looking down, do you make
Quartzite?
I have friends who go, but I've never been yet, I saw
an aerial view in Rock & Gem, quite a gathering.

Quartzite is tops on my places to visit when I winter in AZ. Place is packed with vendors with rock and minerals in all price ranges. Let me know if you ever make it down for the winter.
