to me it looks like a normal weathered natural rock probably with a bit of iron and lots of tiny grains of quartz.

White's V3, Minelab Explorer II & XP Deus.

Prospecting
Consider letting someone look into it in person, or even have an assay done if you believe it to be silver. Might be worth it.

However, I'd start with the basic tests; will a knife scratch it? Do the streak test!

If I was thinking silver, I would have it assayed as well, then there is no doubt as to what it could be!:icon_thumright:
