Here is one of my early attempts at using a digital microscope my friend gave me as a gift.

Chalcopyrite in Fluorite, Minerva #1, Illinois

Chalcopyrite crystals are approx. 1 mm.

Nice gift. I have wanted one for awhile on my wish list. What problems are you having? Can you tell who makes it because I think the pictures are very good. Your rock almost has a labradorite green glow.

I will look up the model for you, I believe it was under $40. The main issue I've had thus far is getting the adjustable neck positioned properly without having to remove the camera from it. Holding the camera in your hand and attempting to capture an image doesn't work well, it needs to be stationary.
