Not sure what Kingpin is but I see what appears to be gold all over that rock!

This appears to be a piece of granite. There are a few other possibilities, since mineral identification solely by images can lead to misidentification.

AllenJ: I know I occasionally use the wrong field of vision in my trifocals, but gold? Seriously?

This appears to be a piece of granite. There are a few other possibilities, since mineral identification solely by images can lead to misidentification.

Never said anythung about gold. I'm a platinum guy myself. The image to me appears to have a very nice shape.
