Just curious Caleb12, who determined these to be Diamond Pearls ?
Have you had your 1,200 carat diamond looked at yet by a professional ?

Uncanny resemblance to an ornament that was hanging on my tree last Xmas, but I could be wrong. Congrats on another one of a kind find:icon_scratch:

The OP certainly brings a unique perspective to geology/mineralogy/gemology.

In 32 years of geology and geological engineering I have never encountered such a unique perspective.

Oh well ...... you learn something new everyday.

Does anyone else see what appears to be letters stamped into
the diamond-pearl?

I'd go with a reflection. There are dips and nicks in the other sphere's. Neat colors though. The bubbles are pretty too ;) Maybe something the Marble Forum would enjoy.

Go Caleb go! YOU are my new favorite TNet poster! Thanks for coming to our forum.

It is about time someone with a fresh outlook arrived here. For the longest time we have heard nothing but the same old things, about the same old rocks. Your arrival has ushered in a new era for the Rock/Gem forum, and I welcome the breath of fresh air. Perhaps we can now begin to see things more clearly.

They laughed at Columbus, said that he would fall off the edge of the Earth, I don't hear them laughing now.

Keep up the good fight brother!
