Found this beauty today however I havent got a clue what this could be or if it's even real??? My only guesses are some type of calcite, or a less common variation of yellow aventurine or moonstone? If anyone has any idea or guesses please let me know! Thanks! IMG_3905.jpg IMG_3900.jpg IMG_3897.jpg

I noticed this was your very first post - so, Welcome Aboard dlehsuan! You didn't list your state (or country) in your profile. So, you might consider jumping over to Sub-Forums: Select Your Area.... and selecting location information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state (or country). You might also consider adding your state (or country) to your displayed profile (SETTINGS -> EDIT PROFILE) so if you ask a question, etc. - people may have more success helping you (your location may help etc.)...

Hello, again. Not a natural crystal. Metaphysical 5 sided cut and polished something called an Isis stone. For channeling your feminine side. Feeling feminine?

From what visible characteristics were you able to determine whether or not it's a natural crystal? Sorry I am very new to this.

If it was moonstone, (which is a feldspar) the crystal habit is completely wrong. It definitely looks like it was faceted or cut into that shape, which can make identification more difficult.

I am aware that it wasn't naturally shaped like this, but it doesn't seem like it's a synthetic crystal??

Synthetics can be incredibly hard to ID, even in person. Impossible to say from a photo.
Chances are, it's cut that way, because I know of no 5 sided natural crystal habit.

I agree, it's a metaphysical healing stone or tower. It was cut into that shape, not naturally formed. The top has been damaged. Probably calcite from the looks of it.
