Strange metal?

Anyone know what this is? It looks like some type of metal. It’s pretty heavy also. Thanks.

I would say lead plates to a lead acid battery.

Does not appear to be the guts of a battery to me. Where did you find it? Try a streak test and break a bit off an edge for a fresh view of the inside as well as a view of the bits that come off. The more metalic parts, see if a knife will scratch it. I'm thinking its possibly galena.

Yeah it scratched easily with a knife and I was able to break a piece off.
