Nokta FoRs Gold, a Gold Cube, 2 Keene Sluices and Lord only knows how many pans....not to mention a load of other gear my wife still doesn't know about!
I noticed this was your very first post - so, Welcome Aboard IntriguedHunter! You didn't list your state (or country) in your profile. So, you might consider jumping over to Sub-Forum: Select Your Area.... and selecting location information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state (or country). You might also consider adding your state (or country) to your displayed profile (SETTINGS -> EDIT PROFILE) so if you ask a question, etc. - members may have more success helping you (your location may help, etc.)...
Since you asked. And welcome, by the way! I'll take a shot at a few. It would be easier all around if you only post a few at a time. First photo... The large gray one with white stripes. It was a deeply buried bedded sandstone, fractured by earth movement, the cracks later filled by quartz. Lower left, volcanic breccia, shattered stone and ash ejected from a volcano, later buried deeply, and turned to stone. Bottom center, more volcanic breccia. Next to it is a dark piece of slate, fractured underground, infilled with quartz. Lower right, chalk? Then quartzite pebbles, more breccia, unknown.
Second photo...More fractured sedimentary and metamorphic rocks.
These rocks together tell a larger story. You say you collected these in the Med. One can infer from these stones, that the Mediterranean is a VERY violent place, geologically, with regular powerful earthquakes, over tens of millions of years, and explosive volcanic activity.
